The Moment table is inspired by the idea that all objects, no matter how large or small, are acted upon by invisible forces. These forces are realized as movement, imbedded in even the most static object as potential energy. Through this work, I attempted to communicate these forces by bringing them to the forefront, challenging the limits of structure and material.
This piece was exhibited at Wanted Design during New York Design Week in May 2013.
